Framed Wool Piece

This was a BOM last fall and I didn't want to do the full set of blocks. However, I did want this particular piece to add to fall decorations. It's framed and hanging above the desk in my kitchen. For the past year I had it--unframed--in my sewing room (HERE).

It was made last year and you may have seen the picture HERE. My small quilt group did this one particular block and some of the group completed a quilt.

Can you see the "X" stitches on the basket? Nice touch, eh?

Yes, there's still piecing going on here. So far this month there are four completed quilts for philanthropy. I'm lost without a steady flow of work on my sewing machine as well as in my hands. You too?
