Thanksgiving is Near
Some of my old embroidered pieces never seem to make it out for their particular holiday. Perhaps it's a bit early, but I can enjoy it longer. It's a stamped on design using cross stitches.
It may have taken years to complete. You know how that goes: you take it out during the summer hoping to finish it in time for fall. That's a laugh.
The pumpkins were made during a sewing groups project time. How about it. The big one is sitting on a gold glass ash try from way back. A dinosaur for sure.
When I first retired, ceramics was a fun project with a dozen of my new neighbors. We'd get together at the ceramic studio and paint away--none of us had ever done this before. The highlight was stopping for lunch.
