We visited with my husband's sister and family in Tennessee in June. His niece is expecting their first grandson after filling the family with girls. Well this orders a quilt. Searching the net, I found a pattern of Overall Bill from a lady's Craftsy shop. (not affiliated). My husband thought it was plain and came up with an idea.

Since loose items like buttons, are not safe on a baby quilt, everything was knuckled down except the pocket hanky. It was fused and stitched and then over stitched with orange thread. I doubt it'll come off.
Now I need to make a label. Any ideas?
Fill the wagon! I search through my scraps and found some odds and ends. He carefully arranged them to show the best of all pieces before the fusing. Of course, this was pretty tricky stitching down with my machine. The "hubcap" on the wagon wheels is Insul-bright used in potholders. It's kind of shiny.
